Mall of Qatar plans fun and fitness events on National Sport Day

A yoga class, a fitness challenge and a healthy breakfast along with a lunch corner will be held at AlRayyan Hotel Doha.

Mall of Qatar has announced that it will host a variety of fun and free fitness activities tomorrow in celebration of National Sport Day and to promote the social and personal benefits of sports and recreation.
“At Mall of Qatar, we have always made it a point to provide our visitors with a memorable experience that goes beyond their expectations for a traditional mall,” said Stuart Elder, Mall of Qatar CEO. “We take immense pride in our role as a cultural emblem in Qatar and are delighted to support our country’s celebration of National Sport Day with a full schedule of recreational activities offered for every age group at different locations all over the mall.”
A yoga class, a fitness challenge and a healthy breakfast along with a lunch corner will be held at AlRayyan Hotel Doha. Also lined up are fencing at the luxury court, basketball competitions for the family to enjoy at East Gate 1, zumba and stretching at East Gate 3 as well as a range of other activities, including the outdoor Fun Fair.
In a statement yesterday, Mall of Qatar said it “invites visitors from all over to join in celebrating National Sport Day by participating in the exciting activities that will take place at the mall throughout the day”.
Additionally, Mall of Qatar will showcase a BMX, skating and rope jumping show that will be held from today until February 21, daily at 5.30pm and 8.30pm at the Oasis Stage. “This February, Mall of Qatar will have something fun for every visitor to partake in,” the statement added.
In alignment with National Sport Day, Mall of Qatar said it “seeks to educate the local population about the benefits of being active and participating in recreational activities”. National Sport Day presents an opportunity for communities to come together through recreation and embrace the sporting principles of team building, unity and inclusion, participation, fitness and health.
