Afghan forces have captured the "mastermind" of a brutal attack on Kabul University when militants stormed classrooms and gunned down dozens of students earlier this month, a top official said Saturday.
HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani held Thursday via telephone a conversation with HE President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Dr. Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, during which they discussed bilateral relations and the means to enhance them.

A car bomb Sunday targeting an Afghan police headquarters in the western province of Ghor killed at least 12 civilians and wounded more than 100, officials said.
“Ceasefire in Afghanistan is a major issue but we have not reached at a level [in the ongoing peace talks] where we will discuss this issue. So far we have not taken the first step towards the peace negotiations.”
