An atmosphere of fun and enjoyment prevails at Katara - the Cultural Village as the Eid al-Adha celebrations there offer a variety of activities while coinciding with the start of Phase 3 of the gradual lifting of Covid-19 restrictions.
The ‘Mega Eid al-Adha Cultural and Infotainment Celebration for Expat Communities’ by the Ministry of Interior highlighted the keenness of the ministry to stay connected with the labour force and expatriate community in Qatar.
Mohamed al-Shareem, spokesperson of the group, said that 34 volunteers took part in various operations of the Eid celebration at Katara.
Entertainment shows, interactive games and sports events at the Summer Entertainment City (SEC) and major malls proved to be a big hit, attracting a large number of holiday-goers on the fourth day of the Eid al-Adha celebrations on Monday.
