The annual Mahaseel festival at Katara – the Cultural Village was opened Monday by general manager Dr Khalid bin Ibrahim al-Sulaiti, along with several officials from the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) and local food production companies.
Katara – the Cultural Village will launch the third edition of Mahaseel Festival on December 31, aimed at supporting and promoting agriculture and livestock sector in Qatar, it was announced.

Various farms in Qatar, participating in the first edition of the ongoing Mahaseel festival 2017, have seen a growing demand for organic produce in the country.
Groups of students from different schools in Qatar who visited the Mahaseel Festival had the opportunity to take part in a number of educational activities, providing them with a unique learning experience on planting.
