Qatar Airways Cargo announced a significant new order for five Boeing 777 freighters at the Paris Air Show Wednesday.

Iranian carriers Iran Airtour and Zagros Airlines have agreed to buy a combined 73 planes from Airbus, the European aircraft maker said on Thursday at the Paris Air Show.

Qatar Airways has again been named as ‘Airline of the Year’ by the prestigious 2017 Skytrax World Airline Awards, held at the Paris Air Show on Tuesday, the fourth time that the national carrier has been given this global recognition as the world’s best airline.

Qatar Airways will “march on” with its plans to add new destinations and is “successfully mitigating” some of the impact of the network disruptions, Group Chief Executive Akbar al-Baker said at the Paris Air Show.
