Nakilat, the shipping arm of Qatar’s liquefied natural gas (LNG) sector, held its “Second Annual Forum” for Qatari employees on Thursday, providing employees direct access to their managers and directors.
All Qatari employees of Nakilat gathered for a day of workshops and presentations, with an emphasis on providing a professional working environment where national employees can flourish and become key contributors to the Qatar National Vision 2030.
The meeting also included recognition for Nakilat’s “developees” and marine cadets for their hard work and commitment.
Senior management listened to their experiences and the challenges they have faced during the learning process in Nakilat.
Nakilat’s Qatarisation rate is 33% and its female staff represents 39%, the highest in the oil and gas sector in Qatar.
Nakilat managing director Abdullah Fadhalah al-Sulaiti said: “We are one family in Nakilat, and we will continue to provide support for all Qatari employees to achieve their goals. This meeting is invaluable for reinforcing the importance of Qatarisation to Nakilat and our contribution to the Qatar National Vision 2030 for the sustainable development of our economy and for the advancement of our people.”
