HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani met yesterday separately with United Nations under-secretary general for counter-terrorism Vladimir Voronkov, UN under-secretary general for humanitarian affairs and emergency relief co-ordinator Mark Lowcock and International Crisis Group director Robert Malley. The meetings were held on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. Discussions during the meeting dealt with enhancing co-operation between Qatar and the United Nations, combating terrorism and developing partnership, as well as issues of common interest.
