HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani on Saturday paid a visit to the 29th Doha International Book Fair at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre.
He toured the pavilions during which he was briefed on the participation of government departments, cultural sectors, Arab and international publishing houses, as well as the latest publications, books and manuscripts.
The Prime Minister praised the wide participation in the exhibition, stressing that it reflects Qatar's interest in science and culture, and its keenness on spreading knowledge and building a civilised society that interacts with the era and its scientific and cultural developments.
