The event kicked off with an inauguration ceremony, which was followed by speeches highlighting the importance of Kirat calendar. Speaking on the occasion, Shiva Kumar Bhujel said that all indigenous and ethnic communities should come closer to overcome ethnic, religious and cultural biases existing in Nepal.
