The State of Qatar expressed its strong condemnation of the bombings that targeted churches and hotels in Sri Lanka killing and injuring dozens.
In a statement issued Sunday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the State of Qatar's shock at this heinous and horrific crime. It also reiterated the State of Qatar's firm stance on rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of the motives and causes.
The statement stressed Qatar's full rejection of targeting places of worship and intimidating people.
The statement expressed the condolences of the State of Qatar to the victims' families and to the government and people of Sri Lanka, wishing the injured a speedy recovery. (QNA)
