QS Tec defeated Serandib by three runs in the Division II final of 25th Gulf Incon Metabo Ramadan Cricket Tournament.
Batting first after winning the toss, QS Tec made 103 for loss of three wickets in their allotted 12 overs. Fouzan scored 20 runs in four balls, Farhan Senior made 17 and Farhan Jr scored 15.
Serandib started with 19 runs in the first over, but despite that, they could only make 100 for the loss of six wickets in 12 overs. Chanaka top scored with 17 runs while Mafaz and Nifros made 15 each. Haleem of QS Tec took four wickets for 16 runs and bagged the man-of-the-match award.
Irshad of Al Fardan was adjudged best batsman of the tournament, while Firdous of Alliance was declared best bowler. Best all-rounder award went to Farhan Juinor of QS Tec and .
Mafaz of Serandib received best wicketkeeper award.
Metabo/Gulf Incon’s Sajjad Ahmed Khan, Rajkumar Selvarajan, Ramesh Natarajan and Vincent Vimaldas were present at the prize distribution ceremony.
QCA national coach appointed by Asian Cricket Council Shahid Mehboob, QCA Head of Domestic Cricket Gul Khan, QCA Official Umpires and Qatar Veterans Cricket officials Tahir Mehmood and Naseen were the guests of honour.
