LuLu, the leading hypermarket chain in the region, announced that it has further strengthened its presence with the opening of its ninth hypermarket at Ezdan Oasis, Al Wukair, yesterday.
The newly launched branch of over 125,000sqft with a two-level basement parking facility “is expected to become the shopping destination of choice for communities living in and around the Meshaf, Al Wukair and Al Wakrah locations”, LuLu has said in a statement.
“The new store is committed to offer a conducive shopping environment to shoppers based in distant locations. The new venture will live up to the same brand identity that LuLu has committed to since Day 1, highlighting quality products and a world-class shopping experience,”

The new hypermarket showcases all categories of merchandise, including the fresh food section consisting of a wide assortment of fruits and vegetables, meat, fish, poultry, bakery, hot and cold ready-to-eat food, a salad bar, chilled and dairy products, frozen food, a roastery, grocery food and non-food, specialty imported foods, health and beauty, household, home appliances, garments, footwear, toys, luggage, stationery, linen electronics, mobiles, IT and more.
Organic and ‘Free from worry’ food ranges that offer an extensive import line of gluten-free, lactose-free, dairy-free, yeast-free, wheat-free, vegan, organic, fat-free, nut-free, soy-free, salt-free, GM-free, egg-free, free range, no sugar, no additives, no preservatives, no hydrogenated fat and other specialty food items imported from around the world, are available on the shelves.
The new outlet “is tailored to meet the needs of modern-day shopping with world-class interiors and a well-planned retail floor layout that are focused on customer convenience”. The hypermarket has opened with inaugural offers and special promotions in all categories at “wallet-friendly prices exclusively for the new store’s clientele”, such as grocery deals and ‘Buy 2 Get 1 Free’ offers on ‘reo’ fashion garments, shirts of international brands, namely Louis Philippe, Van Heusen, Allen Solly and Peter England etc, footwear and ladies’ bags. The management has said shoppers will have “exciting, exclusive offers every week that are tailor-made for the new store”.
Kids’ fun activities such as puppet show, magic show, arts and craft, balloon twisting, face-painting, photo booth etc, will commence from today and will be held regularly with free entry for children.
LuLu’s ongoing mega car promotion, which offers 12 Mercedes Benz E200 cars, 2019 model, and consolation prizes in the form of gift vouchers worth a total of QR300,000, is also available at the new hypermarket. The promotion will continue until August 18 and culminate in seven mega draws to be held from August 19 to 26 at the Al Gharafa, Al Messila, Al Wukair, Barwa City, D-Ring Road, Al Khor, LuLu Center and LuLu Express B-Ring Road branches, respectively, the management said in the statement.
