Teams of Ooredoo volunteers paid a surprise visit to children at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) as part of its ongoing Ramadan CSR activity schedule.
They spent time with young patients at HMC, engaging them in storytelling and colouring activities, and surprised them with gifts and gift vouchers.
Children also had the opportunity to take photos with hospital staff and Ooredoo volunteers, and the teams of volunteers thanked the staff for all their efforts in looking after the young patients throughout the year.
Speaking about the ongoing Ramadan CSR activity schedule, Manar Khalifa al-Muraikhi, director PR and Corporate Communications at Ooredoo, said: “Ramadan is the ideal time of year for us to plan and carry out activities that demonstrate our practical support for our local communities, in line with our corporate responsibility strategy. We know spending time in hospital can be difficult and stressful for many of us, especially children, so we were delighted to be able to visit young patients at HMC and hopefully bring a little cheer to their day.” Ooredoo will be continuing its schedule of CSR activities until the end of Ramadan and Eid.
