Ooredoo Passport ‘key to worry-free roaming’

Ooredoo has reminded customers about the benefits of its Ooredoo Passport for customers travelling abroad this summer. The Ooredoo Passport enables customers travelling abroad “to enjoy worry-free roaming”, the company has said in a statement.
Once an Ooredoo Passport is activated, it instantly provides 1GB data and 100 minutes, available in 104 countries. In case allowances are all used up, a new Ooredoo Passport will be automatically activated, so large roaming bills will not accrue, the statement notes.
If a customer forgets to activate an Ooredoo Passport prior to travel and then spends QR100 roaming in a Passport country, an Ooredoo Passport with 1GB and 100 minutes will be automatically activated.
And again, if all allowances are used up, a new Passport will be automatically activated.
Manar Khalifa al-Muraikhi, director of PR and Corporate Communications at Ooredoo, said: “We know that many of our customers travel abroad during the hot summer months, but they still want to stay connected easily and cost-effectively without worrying about running up huge roaming bills.
“We’re incredibly proud of our Ooredoo Passport product as we know it ticks all the boxes. It’s great value for money, very easy to use with minimal effort required, and provides peace of mind while you travel. We wish all our customers a great summer travelling abroad.”
Customers can sign up for an Ooredoo Passport online via the Ooredoo app or in any of our Ooredoo shops in Qatar.
They can also get an Ooredoo Passport card before boarding at Hamad International Airport.
