The Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy (SC) recently participated in a key sustainability event organised by Tarsheed, the National Programme for Conservation and Energy Efficiency, an initiative of the Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation (Kahramaa).
The SC has played a proactive role in promoting environmental sustainability, the fourth pillar of Qatar National Vision 2030, through various means, according to a report on sc.qa. In recent years, it has teamed up with Kahramaa to establish a long-term collaboration with Tarsheed, which aims to promote environmental awareness across the country.

We are working to deliver a sustainable World Cup and drive positive change across the country, with sustainability at the centre of all of our infrastructure projects, notably the eight stadiums which will host the matches.”
The children in attendance also participated in a tailored Generation Amazing activation. The session introduced pupils to the football for development programme and included details about the different ways they can care for the planet.
