His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani held talks with Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday.
During talks held at the Amiri Diwan, the two sides discussed developing co-operation in economic, investment and energy fields. They also exchanged views on regional and international issues.
The talks were attended by HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz al-Thani, and a number of ministers and the Pakistani delegation accompanying Khan.
Earlier, Khan was accorded an official reception upon arrival at the Amiri Diwan.
Later in the day, the Amir hosted a luncheon banquet in honour of the Pakistan prime minister and his delegation. It was attended by the Prime Minister and several ministers attended.
The Pakistan leader was welcomed upon arrival and seen off later at Hamad International Airport by HE the Minister of State for Energy Affairs Saad bin Sherida al- Kaabi and Pakistan’s ambassador to Qatar, Syed Ahsan Raza Shah.
