HE the Attorney-General Dr Ali bin Fetais al-Marri, on Wednesday met several members of the US House of Representatives who are currently visiting Qatar.

The US House of Representatives members were briefed during the meeting on the independence of the judicial authorities in Qatar, the procedures for the work of the Public Prosecution, the way it works, and the progress of cases in it.

This visit of the US House of Representatives members comes within the framework of the memorandum of understanding signed by the attorney-general last year with a number of public representatives in a number of US states for co-operation, exchange of visits and training.
