Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) reported a total of 651 emergency cases on the first day of Eid al-Fitr with 431 cases at Hamad General Hospital (HGH) and 220 at Wakra Hospital. All the cases were simple and mild.
At HGH, there were 291 male patients and 140 women and 16 cases were admitted. At Wakra Hospital, there were 186 male patients and 34 females with 23 admitted.
