His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani exchanged greetings during telephone conversations on Thursday with a number of leaders of Arab and Islamic countries on the occasion of the blessed Eid al-Adha.

HH the Amir exchanged greetings with Jordan's King Abdullah, Iraqi President Dr Barham Salih, Tunisian President Kais Saied, Palestine President Mahmoud Abbas, Somalia's President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo and Iranian President Dr Hassan Rouhani.

HH the Amir also received cables of congratulations on this occasion from a number of leaders of friendly countries.

Meanwhile, HH the Amir has received a cable from HE the Speaker of the Shura Council Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid al-Mahmoud on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, conveying his greetings and greetings of the members of the Shura Council on the blessed occasion.

The Amir responded with a reply cable of thanks.

His Highness the Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani also exchanged cables of greetings with the crown princes and vice presidents of Arab and Islamic countries on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.

HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz al-Thani also exchanged cables of congratulations with the prime ministers of Arab and Islamic countries on the same occasion.
