The Government Communications Office (GCO) has reiterated that following the correct social distancing precautions remains essential to stop the spread of Covid-19 and reduce the number of active cases.
This, in turn, will ensure that the Covid-19 restrictions continue to be gradually lifted, the GCO said in a tweet on Sunday.
In a related matter, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) has stressed that "wearing a facemask properly while going out reflects your awareness of safety procedures and supports preventive measures against Covid-19".

The app also provides latest statistics pertaining to Covid-19, notifications, alerts and awareness instructions.
Meanwhile, the GCO tweet is accompanied by a video that highlights the importance of social distancing to prevent the spread of Covid-19, while also referring to the need to have the Ehteraz app on the phone,
