HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani held Thursday via telephone a conversation with HE President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Dr. Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, during which they discussed bilateral relations and the means to enhance them.

The two sides also discussed the latest developments in Afghanistan and the Afghan peace negotiations hosted in Doha. HE the Afghan President expressed his thanks and appreciation to HH the Amir for the State of Qatar's continuous efforts and its constant support to establishing peace, security, and stability in Afghanistan to realize the aspirations of the Afghan people for unity and prosperity.
