The Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME)’s Public Parks Department, in co-operation with the National Service Academy, has held a tree-planting event as part of the initiative to plant 1mn trees. The event was attended by Mohamed Jarallah, head of the parks section at Umm Slal Municipality, officials and employees of the Public Parks Department as well as officers and students of the academy, where they planted a number of tree seedlings and other plants.
