Dr Soha al-Bayat, head of Vaccination at the Ministry of Public Health, has received the second dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine. In a video posted by the MoPH on social media on Friday, Dr al-Bayat said: “I just took the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine and all is well. I encourage all of you, who took the first dose, not to forget the second dose and make sure you take it on time. Those who did not take the vaccine, make sure you register and when it’s your turn, please take it to protect yourself and those around you.” A number of other senior health officials had received the second dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine on Thursday.
