With the help of a fine show by Qatar international Abdulrahman Saad (27 points) Al Gharafa defeated Al Sadd 89-77 in the first semi-final of the Qatar Men’s League at the Al Gharafa Indoor Hall yesterday.
In the second semi-final, defending champions Al Shamal powered by Wael Arkaji (26 points) defeated the Amir Cup winners Al Arabi 97-75 to enter the final. The final will be held on Sunday.
