The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) yesterday issued a circular to school managers that from March 21 no employee shall be allowed to enter schools without showing on Ehteraz the proof of complete vaccination (golden frame and stamp) against Covid-19 or a Covid-19 negative certificate every week. If a school employee – eligible for vaccination but fails to do so without a valid reason – gets infected with Covid-19 or comes into contact with a confirmed case, his/her quarantine period shall be deemed unpaid leave, the circular added. The priority vaccination for school employees will be over by March end.
